The total tourism income of the Kingdom during the first five months of 2014, about 1.8 billion dollars from 1.6 billion dollars during the same period in 2013, an increase of 14%.

The data that the total number of tourists to Jordan reached during the first five months of 2014, 2,000,207 thousand tourists.

The data indicated that the number of overnight tourists from the Gulf countries during the first five months of 2014 amounted to 265.898 thousand visitors, and Arab countries, 463.9 thousand and 251.2 thousand from Europe, 125 469 tourists from the Asia-Pacific region.

The director of the Jordan Tourism Board, Dr Abdul Razak Arabiyat stressed that his country aimed at a large number of Qatari and GCC tourists this summer expected rise in the number of Gulf tourists and Arabs to his country during the summer at a rate ranging between 10-15% from last year.
